Friends
Nick D'Virgilio - My good friend who engineered and mixed my record and is one
of the most talented musicians I know.
Loren Philip - a.k.a "Furious" shot all of the images for the CD
and did a first rate job.
Eric Sardinas - We've opened for Eric and Paul many times, a couple of times
with Walter Trout as the headliner, those were some killer shows. I used to
jam with Paul at Ronnie Sax's blues jam at Night Moves in Huntington Beach
over 15 years ago. I first saw Eric Sardinas at a blues jam at
Rumplestilskin's in Newport Beach
years ago. Instead of sitting in with the band he would ask to get up and
play something by himself, (cause the drummer couldn't shuffle a deck of
cards) and he would tear that place up. Now he and Paul are tearing up the
whole World.
Walter Trout and the Radicals - We've opened for Walter allot too. I used to alternate
weekends with Walter between Perq's in Huntington Beach
and The Rockfield Tavern in Lake
Forest. With the exception of Walter's bass player
Jimmy Trapp, I've had every other member of his band play some gigs with me.
Berney Pershey when he took a year off from touring, Rick Elliott when Bernie
went back on tour (by sheer coincidence Rick also went to high school with my
bass player Mike Barry) Paul Kallestad played with us before he was in
Walter's band and Martin Gerschwitz played with us after he left Walter's
band. Walter has always been very nice to me, he's a class act.
Drool Bros. - Tom Slick and his brother, these guys are too cool. Tom plays
bass Harry Dean Stanton's band too.
Jon Mattox - ex Young Dubliners drummer, John is also a very talented song
writer. His web site is killer.
