Bubba and the Big Bad Blues |

|
Bubba and the Big Bad Blues is a four piece blues band from |
|
|
|
Bubba's long awaited debut self titled album speaks for itself.
Produced by Bubba, recorded and mixed at Lawn Mower and Garden Supply Studio
(formerly owned by the late Kevin Gilbert of Toy Matinee and the location of
Sheryl Crow's "Tuesday night music club") by drummer/producer Nick D'Virjilio (Spock's Beard, Tears for Fears and Genesis)
the album attempts to capture the synergy and connection that exists between
the band when they are live on stage. It does a pretty good job too, but
nothing compares to seeing and hearing them live! |

Bubba and the Big Bad Blues started as a 3 piece band in 1992
with Bubba on lead guitar and vocals, Shawn Nourse on drums and a bass
player. Since then, they have played just about every blues club in So Cal
(and many that don’t exist anymore, see the club list). Bubba has opened
shows for veteran bands such as; Anthony Gomes, BB Chun King, Canned Heat,
Coco Montoya, Duke Robillard, Eric Sardinas, Lee Rocker, Little Charlie and the Night Cats,
Pat Benatar, Rod Piazza, Tim Bogert,
Tinsley Ellis, Tommy Castro, Walter Trout, Walter Wolfman
Washington and Wilson Pickett just to name a few. |
